1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (hereinafter: ToS) govern the terms of use of the service (hereinafter: Service) provided through the website https://macrome.hu by Jenei Máté e.v. (hereinafter: Provider). By using the Service, the user (hereinafter: User) accepts the contents of the ToS.

2. Description of the Service

The Service is an online nutrition journal and macronutrient tracking system that provides the following functionalities to the User:

• Recording nutritional data and creating meal plans
• Calculating calorie and protein requirements
• Tracking body weight and generating statistics
• Providing built-in nutrition facts
• Adding, editing, and deleting custom nutrition facts
• Adding, editing, and deleting custom recipes

The Service is available in both free and subscription-based (premium) versions. The premium Service is only accessible with an active subscription.

3. Registration and user account

Using the Service requires login and registration. During registration, the User is required to provide accurate information. Registration is subject to the acceptance of the ToS.

The User is responsible for the security of their account. The Provider is not liable for any damages resulting from the User forgetting their password or if unauthorized access occurs due to reasons not attributable to the Provider.

In case of any changes to their data, the User is responsible for updating their account information.

The Provider reserves the right to suspend or delete accounts that are used in violation of the rules at any time.

4. Usage, subscription fees and payment terms

The free version of the Service is available with limited functionality. Its purpose is to allow the Users to try out the Service.

The Provider reserves the right to modify or restrict the functionality of the free version at any time.

Access to certain (premium) features of the Service requires an active subscription. Subscriptions are available on a monthly or yearly payment basis. The Provider is only obligated to provide the premium Service upon successful payment.

The subscription can only be purchased online. The displayed subscription prices are in Hungarian forints (HUF) and include the legally required VAT.

Payments are processed through the Stripe system. The Provider does not handle payment data.

The subscription is automatically renewed unless the User cancels it in time. In case of cancellation, the premium Service remains available until the end of the subscription period. Subscription cancellations do not qualify for refunds. The User may renew a previously canceled subscription at any time.

In case of unsuccessful renewal, the premium Service will be suspended until the User successfully fulfills their payment obligation. The free Service will remain accessible.

The premium Service includes the following features:

• Uploading recipe images
• Access to previously planned meals
• Access to future meal planning
• Creating up to 1500 custom nutrition facts
• Creating up to 300 custom recipes
• Logging up to 30 meals per day

5. Deletion of user account

The User may initiate the deletion of their account at any time on the following page: https://macrome.hu/profile

After deleting the account, the access to the Service will be immediately terminated.

Deletion of the account is irreversible. Deleting the account will remove all user-created nutrition facts, recipes (including uploaded images), meal plans, weight records and other user data. The Provider is not liable for any loss of data resulting from the deletion of the account.

When the account is deleted, the subscription of the User will be automatically canceled. No refunds will be issued for the remaining subscription period. No further subscription fees will be charged.

6. Right of withdrawal

The User has the right to withdraw from the contract without justification within 14 days from the start of the first subscription.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the User must send a clear statement to the email address of the Provider. Upon receiving the withdrawal notice, the Provider will promptly refund the paid amount and terminate the access of the User to the premium Service.

7. Permitted use

The User may only use the Service as specified in the ToS.

It is prohibited to use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized activity.

It is prohibited to download, electronically store, process and sell the contents appearing on the website of the Service without the written consent of the Provider.

Any misuse of the Service is prohibited.

8. Data management and privacy

The collection, use and protection of the personal data of the User is governed by the Privacy Policy: https://macrome.hu/privacy-policy

9. Modifications, applicable law

These ToS are effective from March 1, 2025 and will remain in effect until revoked. The Provider reserves the right to unilaterally modify the ToS. Changes are indicated by the Last updated date at the top of the page.

Issues not regulated in these ToS and the interpretation of these ToS are governed by Hungarian law.

10. Limitation of liability

The Provider is not liable for any damages or losses resulting from the use of the Service.

The Provider makes every effort to ensure that the nutritional information available in the Service is accurate and up-to-date. However, the ingredients and nutritional values ​​of foods may change from time to time. The Provider is not responsible for any inaccuracies that may occur.
